Products Support Crude for Now (August 30, 2021)

 

Members of OPEC and the other oil-exporting countries limiting output to support crude oil prices will review market conditions Wednesday. They will examine supply and demand forecasts for the next few months and data on inventories in OECD nations. They may also focus on softening Asian demand.

 

Other matters should capture their attention and probably be given more consideration, however. Action in the market last week, while seemingly positive, offers some cautions.
