China's Economic Aggression; Derivative Dingbats (August 9, 2021)

This report has two topics. We begin with China’s economic aggression. Over the last several years, the country has trampled on international norms in several markets. Petroleum has been exempted until now. Change may be in the offing.

Second, we turn to “derivative dingbats.” The term was initially and wrongly applied to executives at Metallgesellschaft by Christopher Culp and Steve Hanke.[1]However, some fracking company leaders now deserve the title.
