Russia to the Market's Rescue? A Gasoline Squeeze This Spring? Sweet Crude's Declining Market Advantage (or Why Keystone Screws Canadian Producers) (December 19, 2011)

 

This report focuses on three topics. First, other energy-exporting countries in addition to Russia must step forward to help Europe avoid economic collapse. Second, the US East Coast refinery closures will likely remove much of the advantage once enjoyed by sweet crude producers. Third, Canadian producers in the future will want to thank TransCanada for cutting their income substantially by ramming Keystone through Congress.
