Manufacturing Inexpensive Natural Gas in the US: Low Prices for a Long Time (April 16, 2012)

 

The United States has found a way to manufacture natural gas. To be clear, production of natural gas and oil from shale is a manufacturing process. It eschews the traditional oil exploration and development methodology. This breakthrough is unique. What is more, we do not have to patent it or copyright it to “protect” it. Other nations quite simply cannot duplicate our success. This development is extremely important. Put bluntly, the cheap energy that results will make the US economy strong.
